Abstract: This protocol describes a planned survey of current rehabilitation provision for renal patients across the UK. Rehabilitation, defined as ‘a set of measures that assist individuals who experience, or are likely to experience, disability to achieve and maintain optimal functioning in interaction with their environment’ (World Health Organization, 2011), is gaining increasing recognition as a key component with the management of CKD.
