| dc.description.abstract | This research for the Commission on Crime and Gambling Related Harms focuses on women’s experiences of crime and gambling. The report reveals that increasing numbers of women are gambling and seeking help for gambling-related harms, but many are being met with a lack of awareness and understanding about gambling and crime from the criminal justice system, as well as many other services including those in health, financial institutions, and the family courts. As a result, women in this study reported that the support they had been given had been lacking. | en_US |
