Abstract: Businesses increasingly demand graduates who are fluent in the language of sustainable development goals (SDGs), so alongside recognising the role of education in ensuring the sustainability of our planet, this moral imperative has become an employability issue for universities. There is a lack of consensus on how best to achieve this, e.g. single study or multi-disciplinary approach? There is also increasing evidence that student partnership in curriculum design promotes deeper student learning and success. This session explores student performance on a case study assessment, with embedded SDGs, and the subsequent student input into redesigning the curricula for future years. Participants are invited to share experiences and reflect on their own TLA strategies in the light of the findings.
