dc.description.abstract | This paper discusses the design and outputs of co-design workshops used to facilitate the co-creation of a shared vision for public makerspaces in China and the design of such space. The workshops were held with Chinese and non-Chinese participants to identify similarities and differences in terms of approaches, outputs and key considerations. Initial results suggested that these workshops were effective at supporting value co-creation, as they excel at engaging participants and enable them to collaborate as equal partners. It was observed that Chinese participants were rather pragmatic and conscious of sustainable growth. | en_US |
