dc.description.abstract© Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019. In contrast to the previous generations, the next generation mobile network will be largely driven by data. Data are increasing in exponential way due to the increased number of smart mobile devices and network connection capabilities. Mobile connectivity had become every day’s need for many network users, and demand for mobile broadband to access the different applications and services on the internet is increasing in a rapid way. Therefore, data delivery will represent a challenging area for the mobile networks, taking in consideration the adaption of advanced multimedia application, video content and IoT applications. New methods, strategies, and techniques that provide Interworking and harmonization between computer and telecom network in a unified heterogenous ecosystem that can provide computing capabilities in the edge should be considered for the implementation of next generation of mobile networks.en_US
