Abstract: Rather than to think of crisis as a situation of chaos and disorder, it is better to stay closer to the root meaning of the Greek word ‘krinein,’ which highlights that a crisis is a decision point that calls for judgement. This is certainly the case with the current crisis, which by some is referred to as a migrant crisis and by others as a refugee crisis.
