Government websites of developing countries are pertinent since they are part of the e-government efforts occurring on a global scale. The aim of this research is to investigate the usability issues of government web portals of developing countries. The data was collected from a diverse range of respondents. The main contribution of this paper is to identify the usability issues when implementing government web portals. This is pertinent as web portals are the only feature and source of information that people from various locations will obtain prior to visiting the country and may be a decisive factor for an individual. © 2009 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.en_US
